10 MW Solar Project

Go Fresh conducted a feasibility study for the inclusion of Solar Power on the Illovo Sugar Malawi sugar estate. This project was to be sized to supplement the utility power in providing irrigation for 12,000ha of sugar cane. The investigation incorporated not only technical and financial feasibility but also in-depth research into taxation, accounting treatment and local regulatory requirements.
Following the positive outcome of the feasibility study, Go Fresh originated and ran the global tender to secure an independent power producer to deliver the project. Included in this was leading a team in authoring the request for proposal documents and formation of a bespoke power purchase agreement (PPA)

Payroll Restructuring and Compliance

Go Fresh was responsible for restructuring the payroll of a large cross-border transporter. This resulted in reduced run time more transparent regulatory compliance and improved auditing of deductions and benefits. The new streamline payroll took half the man-days to run, and the loan book was reduced to a negligible amount. Management payroll was moved off-site to ensure confidentiality.
